Ditta potato variety is mid-season, its vegetation period is from 80 to 95 days. The plant is of medium height, erect, intermediate type, with large green leaves and white flowers. Tubers are oblong-oval, with smooth yellow skin, shallow eyes, and light yellow flesh; the weight of a marketable tuber is 95–120 g.

The variety is resistant to potato wart and golden potato cyst nematode, however, it shows moderate susceptibility to Rhizoctonia, common scab, and late blight of tubers, with weak resistance to late blight of foliage and PVYntn. Marketable yield varies from 24.5 to 28.4 t/ha, with a maximum reaching 59.5 t/ha.

The potato belongs to culinary type A, suitable for salads, soups, and frying. Starch content is 10.4–12.8%. The variety is characterized by high keeping quality (about 95%) and a long tuber dormancy period. The variety was obtained by crossing Bintje and Quarta varieties.
