The variety was intended for cultivation from true potato seeds. When using the seed method, a long growing season was required; therefore, to accelerate ripening, seeds were sown indoors 6 weeks before transplanting into the field.

It was characterized by unpredictable ripening times and low yield compared to traditional varieties propagated by tubers. It formed uniform but small tubers, due to which its use was limited to container cultivation.
