The variety belongs to the early-maturing group with a vegetation period of 65–75 days and the possibility of the first harvest on the 45th day. The plant is of medium height, semi-erect, of intermediate type. The tubers have an oval shape with shallow eyes, yellow skin and flesh. The mass of a marketable tuber is 80–150 g, starch content varies from 12.8 to 15.2%.
The variety is characterized by high yield (from 196 to 419 c/ha, maximum up to 513 c/ha). Culinary type BC is suitable for boiling, frying and baking. The tubers are distinguished by good keeping quality (up to 96%) and a long dormancy period, which prevents early sprouting.
Fioretta possesses resistance to potato wart and golden potato cyst nematode (Ro 1, Ro 4). Moderate resistance is noted to late blight of tops and tubers, leaf roll virus. The variety is also resistant to rugose and mild mosaic and blackleg.
