The variety was bred at PBI Cambridge. Tubers are short-oval to elongated in shape. The variety has high resistance to gangrene, as well as moderate resistance to late blight, stem nematode, common scab, and a number of bacterial diseases.
The potato is characterized by high yield and adaptability to various soil types under sufficient irrigation. Due to its taste qualities and suitable flesh texture that does not darken after cooking, the variety is considered universal and is suitable for all main culinary preparation methods.
