The variety belongs to the mid-early group and is intended for industrial use, in particular for starch production. The starch content in the tubers is about 25.2%. The tubers have shallow eyes and are relatively small, the skin is yellow, and the flesh is light yellow.
The plant has low requirements for soil conditions and moisture, and shows moderate sensitivity to the effects of metribuzin-based herbicides. The variety is resistant to pathotype 1 of potato wart and is being studied for resistance to bacterial diseases, including blackleg and soft rot.
