The variety was obtained by crossing Kuras and 88-41.43. The plant forms an upright bush with sparse foliage and pink-violet flowers. The tubers are round-oval in shape, have yellow skin and light yellow flesh; they boil down significantly, corresponding to culinary type C–BC.
The starch content is 18.6–23.0%, and a high vitamin C content is also noted. The variety has high resistance to potato wart and potato cyst nematode, is relatively resistant to late blight, and moderately resistant to viral diseases, while being relatively susceptible to common scab.
