The variety is a result of breeding obtained by crossing varieties Tomensa and Hermes. It belongs to the mid-early maturity group and is intended primarily for table use, while also possessing potential for industrial processing.

The plant possesses resistance to Potato virus Y and pathotype Ro1 of the potato cyst nematode. The variety underwent field trials to evaluate yield stability and tuber quality characteristics under various growing conditions.
