Variety description

The variety is the result of crossing «Світанок київський» and «Слов’янка». The plant is tall, upright, moderately leafy with red-violet flowers. Tubers are oblong-oval in shape, weighing 80–103 g, with cream-colored skin and flesh, and medium-depth eyes.

Starch content is 13.2–15.1%, protein is 2.1%. The flesh does not darken when boiled, culinary type B. The variety is characterized by high marketability of the yield and resistance to mechanical damage.

Possesses high resistance to potato wart, viral diseases, and drought. Keeping quality is about 90%. Suitable for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones of Ukraine.
