The variety is an old local landrace, presumably of German origin, which has been cultivated for a long time in Scandinavian countries. Tubers have a long-oval or elongated shape, a smooth surface, and shallow eyes. The skin is blue, and the flesh is white.
The variety belongs to the mid-early group and is intended for human consumption. It has a high dry matter content. Regarding diseases, it shows high susceptibility to late blight and potato virus Y, but is resistant to kidney-shaped rot and internal tuber necrosis.
