The variety Koral is known in Polish agronomic publications related to the Plant Breeding and Acclimatization Institute (IHAR-PIB). In studies, it was considered in the context of cultivation for early harvest.
The plant possesses resistance to potato wart (Synchytrium endobioticum). In breeding databases, the variety is recorded as a parental form that participated in crosses, however, it is not widely distributed in modern commercial production.
