Variety description

The variety was obtained by crossing the 'Agria' variety and the hybrid KW 78-34-470. The vegetation period is from 65 to 80 days. The plant is of medium height, leaf type, semi-erect, with strong stems resistant to lodging.

Tubers are oval or round-oval in shape, uniform, with yellow smooth or slightly rough skin and shallow eyes. The flesh is light yellow. The starch content is 11.6–16.2%; it features a high dry matter content, a long dormancy period, and a keeping quality of up to 94%.

The variety is resistant to the potato wart pathogen (pathotype I) and the golden potato cyst nematode (Ro1), but is susceptible to late blight on the foliage and moderately susceptible on the tubers. Sensitive to soil waterlogging.

The main purpose is processing into crisps due to the consistently low content of reducing sugars. It is also suitable for the production of starch, potato flour, and for table use.
