Solanum tuberosum L. Potato · Agricultural · bred by Dr. R.J.Mansholt's Veredelingsbedrijf

Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety belongs to early maturity groups. Tubers have smooth light yellow skin, yellow flesh and superficial eyes. The potato does not darken after boiling, is suitable for washing and long-term storage. Culinary type A–B indicates low flouriness and the ability to maintain shape during heat treatment.

During cultivation, the variety demonstrates moderate development in the initial period and requires uniform irrigation and nutrition. It is characterized by low susceptibility to common scab and resistance to nematodes of types Ro1 and Ro4. Due to sensitivity to premature sprouting, it is recommended to warm the tubers before planting.
