The variety belongs to the mid-late maturity group. It possesses resistance to potato wart, including protection against aggressive biotypes.
The variety was obtained on the basis of Solanum stoloniferum hybrids having cytoplasmic male sterility, which determined its use primarily as a maternal line in breeding. In 1998–2000, the variety was used in scientific work studying yield structure and in biochemical research, in particular for the isolation of trypsin inhibitors.
