The variety belongs to the Early Maincrop group. The tubers have an oval-elongated shape, smooth white skin, cream flesh and shallow surface eyes. Plants reach medium to high height and produce white flowers.
The variety has resistance to Potato virus Y and dry rot (Fusarium coeruleum). It is genetically related to the Pentland Dell variety and has been used as a parent line in the breeding of new varieties such as Rooster and Clevna.
