The Primura variety is widely known in the history of potato breeding as a parent form. It was used in the Primura × Alcmaria cross to develop the well-known Adora variety and was actively used in efforts to create nematode-resistant hybrids.
Precise morphological characteristics of the plant, data on the vegetation period, and disease resistance are absent from open sources. Presumably, the variety belongs to the mid-20th-century potato generations and is often mentioned alongside early and mid-early varieties.
