The Rosalia variety is early-maturing; the period from emergence to harvest ranges from 50 to 90 days. The plant has a semi-spreading habit with reddish-violet flowers.
Tubers are oblong-oval in shape, with a mass of 81 to 115 g, and contain 12.1–16% starch. The variety is of culinary type B, is slightly floury, and is suitable for frying and salads.
The plant is resistant to potato wart, golden nematode, and major viral diseases. It has low to moderate resistance to late blight, common scab, rhizoctoniosis, and blackleg.
