The variety is included in the registers and genetic resource collections of Latvia under the number LVA 162. It is used in breeding programs and is regularly utilized in molecular genetic studies for the identification and assessment of potato genetic diversity using SSR markers.

The variety belongs to the late maturity group for harvest. An important characteristic of the tubers is their color stability when boiled — they do not darken after cooking.
