The variety was bred in Finland. According to the potato pedigree database, it was obtained in 1997.
In scientific studies, the variety was examined in the context of biochemical indicators, in particular, the level of glycoalkaloids in tubers. In experiments on the effect of selenium on plants, it was noted that the application of the microelement did not have a significant effect on the yield of immature tubers of this variety.
