The Summit Russet variety is a distinct late-maturing potato with oblong or elongated tubers covered in a russet skin. It possesses resistance to early blight, late blight, pink rot, powdery scab, and common scab, as well as to tuber bruising.
Summit Russet potatoes are characterized by a high dry matter content. The variety is suitable for fresh consumption, as well as for industrial processing into french fries and chips.
