The variety is classified as very early, ready for harvest 6–8 weeks after planting. Tubers are round-oval in shape with an uneven surface and deep eyes featuring long eyebrows. The skin is light red or pink, the flesh is white, sometimes with red spots under the eyes or a faint vascular ring. Sprouts are long, light reddish-violet, and densely pubescent.
At the beginning of the season, tubers are firm, becoming mealy upon ripening. The variety is highly susceptible to late blight and potato virus Y, has no resistance to nematodes and potato wart, while exhibiting moderate resistance to common scab. Currently, it is grown primarily as a historical table variety.
