Viiulid is a historical landrace potato, not a modern breeding variety. In different regions of Estonia, it has received various names, such as Väike verrev and Väike sinine.
This potato belongs to the category of gourmet varieties. Historically, it was used for the production of alcoholic beverages and as a fodder crop.
