The variety is a result of a cross between ARMUNDO and AR 85-022-07. The plant is medium to tall, fast-growing, with a strong stem. The tubers are oval-shaped with very shallow eyes; the cooking type is AB with a dry matter content of approximately 17.9%.

The variety possesses resistance to potato cyst nematode (Ro 1, 4), common scab, and virus Y (Yn, Yntn), and moderate resistance to potato leaf roll virus. It is noted to be susceptible to late blight of foliage and tubers.

The plant has good heat tolerance. The variety is sensitive to metribuzin-based herbicides, and the tubers require care during harvest due to sensitivity to mechanical damage.
