Tubers of the Żagiel variety have a regular round-oval shape, light rough skin, and shallow eyes. The tuber flesh is colored light yellow. Starch content in the tubers is about 12.6%; when boiled, they exhibit good density and disintegrate slightly.
The variety is resistant to potato leafroll virus, nematodes, and blackleg, while being characterized by medium resistance to late blight. The plant is undemanding regarding water and soil quality, and is suitable for washing, packaging, and use in the food service industry.
