The variety was obtained by crossing the Symphonia and Amorosa varieties. The tubers are large, have smooth shiny red skin and eyes of shallow or medium depth. The flesh is light yellow, the dry matter content is about 19.3%. Culinary type AB implies low starch content and little disintegration during cooking; the variety practically does not darken after boiling and is suitable for making french fries.
The plant is characterized by very strong haulm development and uniform emergence, suitable for cultivation on all soil types. The dormancy period of the tubers is short. The variety is resistant to potato cyst nematode (Ro1, 4) and YNTN virus, but has high sensitivity to late blight of tubers and a susceptibility to common scab.
