The Zheran variety was developed as a result of breeding work with the parental forms Dobrochyn and Post 86. In scientific publications, the variety is mentioned in the context of research aimed at studying resistance to the potato wart pathogen and late blight.
Detailed characteristics of the variety, such as maturity group, plant morphometric indicators, or taste qualities, are not presented in open sources. The variety is included in the state register of Ukraine and is available on the seed market.
