The variety has a growing period of about 96 days. The plant is compact, medium height. Tubers are round-oval, medium-sized, covered with yellow skin with light yellow flesh and fairly shallow eyes. The variety has a long dormancy period and does not sprout until spring.
Starch content in tubers averages 19.4%. The variety is intended for starch production and the manufacture of dry products. The plant is demanding of moisture conditions and responds well to irrigation; it is resistant to metribuzin treatment after emergence.
The potato has high resistance to potato cyst nematode (pathotypes Ro1–Ro4 and Pa3) and potato wart (pathotype D1). Resistance to potato virus Y is rated as high, to common scab as high, and to late blight of leaves and tubers as medium.
