The variety is a hybrid of sorghum and sudangrass, exhibits photoperiod sensitivity, which extends the growing season and increases opportunities for cutting. Plants reach a height of more than 2–3 meters and possess high initial growth vigor.

Forage value is characterized by succulent stems and high leafiness. Protein content at a young age can reach 17–20%. The crop is used for the production of silage, haylage, green fodder, and also as a green manure to improve soil structure.

Under adverse conditions, such as drought or frost, the variety is capable of accumulating cyanogenic glycosides, which requires control during livestock grazing.
