The variety is a hybrid possessing traits intermediate between the parental forms. Plants are distinguished by vigorous foliage and a high capacity for rapid regeneration of vegetative mass after mowing.

The crop is adapted to hot climate conditions and possesses drought tolerance. When grown for forage, the harvesting phase must be considered, as there is a risk of nitrate and hydrocyanic acid accumulation under stress factors such as drought or frost.
