The variety belongs to the category of late-maturing forms. The panicle emergence phase occurs on the 52nd day after emergence. Depending on the cut, plant height varies from 126 to 167 cm. Stems can have a greater thickness compared to early-maturing varieties.

The crop is used as forage to obtain hay and green mass. The breeding of the variety is aimed at increasing productivity by extending the development period. There are variations of the variety under the names «Генічанка 1» and «Генічанка 2».
