The variety has good tillering capacity and demonstrates resistance to the most common economically significant diseases. The plant tolerates drought conditions and high temperatures well.

Under intensive use with 3–4 cuts per season, the variety is capable of forming a green mass yield of up to 80–100 t/ha and hay of up to 15–20 t/ha. The produce is used as green fodder, hay, silage, or haylage.
