The hybrid was obtained by crossing male-sterile grain sorghum with sudangrass. The plant is used primarily for livestock grazing, hay production, and silage, ensuring high green mass yields.

The variety is characterized by a powerful root system and high stem leafiness. Like other members of the Sorghum genus, this hybrid is capable of accumulating hydrocyanic acid during periods of drought or after frosts, which requires adherence to safety precautions during livestock grazing.
