The plant is a leafy hybrid with thin, succulent, and sweet stalks, the height of which reaches 2.4–3 meters. It is distinguished by rapid initial growth, the ability to cover the soil in 20 days, and the possibility of performing the first mowing 50–55 days after sowing.

The sugar content in the stalks ranges from 12% to 16%, which, combined with their structure, ensures high feed palatability. The hybrid possesses high drought tolerance and resistance to anthracnose and downy mildew. It is used for hay, grazing, green fodder, and haylage harvesting.

There are modifications of the hybrid, such as a version with a delayed maturation period to extend the vegetative state and a version with the brown midrib gene to reduce lignin content and improve digestibility.
