The hybrid is early-maturing: the period from sowing to the first cut takes 40–60 days, with subsequent cuts possible every 25–35 days. Plants reach a height of 1.5–2.1 meters, have thin stems, and well-developed tillering.

The presence of the BMR 6 trait reduces lignin content, improving forage digestibility, and the dry stalk trait accelerates the drying of mowed biomass. The hybrid is resistant to drought, anthracnose, and powdery mildew, but can be affected by sugarcane aphids.

The crop is used as an annual for the production of green forage, hay, silage, haylage, livestock grazing, and as a cover crop for soil improvement.
