The variety possesses photoperiod neutrality, which allows it to form panicles under long daylight hours. The plant is characterized by thinner stems compared to forage sorghum, high productivity, and the ability for rapid regrowth after mowing.

The plant has high drought tolerance and low water requirements, responding positively to warm growing conditions. Sowing requires soil temperatures of at least 12°C. The variety is used as an intermediate crop and an alternative to corn in arid areas; it is suitable for fresh fodder and silage.
