The hybrid is an upright annual summer-type plant intended for use as hay, haylage, silage, or green fodder. Under favorable conditions, the 50% flowering stage occurs 70–80 days after sowing. The plant is well adapted to hot climatic conditions, exhibits high drought tolerance, and responds effectively to irrigation.
The plant has high digestibility and protein content. For effective regrowth after grazing, it is recommended to start grazing when the stand reaches a height of 750–800 mm and not to graze the crop lower than 250 mm. Monitoring the flowering phase is important for maintaining the intensity of subsequent biomass regrowth.
