The hybrid is an interspecific cross between sorghum and sudangrass. The plant reaches a height of 200–260 cm, has thin, strong stems and a high degree of tillering. The variety is intended for the production of green mass, hay, haylage, and silage.
The plant possesses resistance to lodging and tolerance to drought. The sugar content in the mass is 15–16%, and the protein content in the dry matter exceeds 10%. Under intensive cultivation technology, 2–3 cuts are ensured, with green mass yield reaching 65–90 t/ha.
In the early phases of development (at a height of less than 70–80 cm), the variety is capable of accumulating cyanogenic glycosides; therefore, grazing or mowing at initial growth stages, as well as under conditions of drought or frost, requires caution.
