Variety description

10 August 2026

The evergreen tree has a dense symmetrical crown that does not require regular pruning. The needles are scale-like, soft to the touch, and colored golden-yellow, while young growth may have an orange hue. The variety retains its golden coloration all year round.

The plant is slow-growing, reaching a height of 2 to 6 meters by the age of ten with a crown width of up to 1.8 meters. The average annual growth is 10–20 cm. The tree is winter-hardy, withstands temperatures down to -30...-40 °C, and is resistant to urban air pollution.

To maintain the intensity of the needle coloration, the plant requires planting in sunny areas and needs moderately moist, fertile, and well-drained soils. The variety is widely used in landscape design for creating hedges, single and group plantings, and for container cultivation.
