The plant reaches 6–7 meters in height with an average annual growth of 15–30 cm; by the age of ten, the height is about 2–2.5 meters. The crown is characterized by high density and regularity.
The variety possesses good frost resistance, corresponding to USDA zone 5, and is adapted to urban environmental conditions. The plant is sensitive to wet snow accumulation, which can deform the branches, and tolerates pruning well.
Used in landscape design for creating hedges, as a solitaire plant, for topiary, or for cultivation in containers.
