Variety description

The plant has a dense, symmetrical crown shape, reaching a height and width of 60–80 cm with an annual growth rate of 5–10 cm. The variety was obtained via a spontaneous branch mutation of the Danica variety.

The thuja has high winter hardiness, withstanding frosts down to -29°C...-34°C (USDA zone 3), but requires protection from bright spring sun. The plant tolerates pruning well and is resistant to diseases, however, it reacts poorly to water stagnation in the soil.

The variety is used in landscape design for creating borders and hedges, as well as for cultivation in containers, alpine gardens, and rockeries.
