The plant possesses a compact form with vertically arranged branches, which allows it to maintain a neat appearance without pruning. By the age of ten, the thuja reaches a height of 2.5–3 meters with a width of up to 1.5 meters, demonstrating an annual growth of 20–30 cm.

The needles are soft, scale-like, bright yellow at a young age, acquiring a golden-green hue over time, and can change color to bronze or orange-yellow in winter. The variety has a frost resistance of zone 5b and resistance to sunburn.

The plant is demanding of soil moisture, preferring moderately moist, fertile, and well-drained soils. It is sensitive to both water stagnation and prolonged soil drying. Suitable for solitary plantings, alleys, and the creation of dense hedges.
