Variety description

The variety has a crown shape in the form of an even cone and grows slower than the Smaragd variety. By 10 years of age, the plant height is about 1.8 m with a diameter of 0.6 m; in maturity, the height reaches 2.5–3 m. It originated as a mutation of the Smaragd variety.

Young spring shoots have a yellow-green hue, which changes to green with a golden tint as they mature, and by autumn the tips of the branches become bright yellow. The plant prefers sunny locations and fertile, moist, acidic, and well-drained soils.
