Variety description

The plant has a conical or pyramidal crown shape, which can be narrowly pyramidal at a young age. Mature specimens reach a height of 3–5 meters, sometimes up to 8 meters. The scale-like needles have a golden-yellow color, which acquires a copper or bronze hue in winter.

The variety is characterized by rapid growth: the annual increment is 20–30 cm in height and up to 10 cm in width. The plant possesses high frost resistance (USDA zones 4–5, down to -35 °C) and is not prone to sunburn. The Thuja tolerates urban conditions and pruning well; it prefers fertile, moderately moist, drained soils.
