The plant forms a loose, spherical crown and reaches a height of 1–2 meters. Growth rates are slow at a young age and become medium thereafter.

A characteristic feature is the branches twisted in the shape of funnels, which gives the crown a unique appearance. The needle color is medium green in summer and darkens in winter. The variety does not produce flowers or fruits.

The plant is used in decorative gardening, possesses general adaptability to urban conditions, and tolerates medium air pollution and high groundwater levels.
