The plant is distinguished by a compact habit and a dense crown. At a young age, the crown has a globular shape, but over time it elongates, acquiring conical or pyramidal outlines. The variety is slow-growing; by 10 years of age, it reaches a height of 0.6–0.8 m, with a maximum height of 0.8–2 m.

The needles are scale-like, soft, shiny, and bright or dark green in color. The shoots are densely arranged, directed upward, and slightly twisted. The variety is light-loving, winter hardy down to -30...-35°C, and resistant to urban conditions and diseases. It prefers fertile, sufficiently moist loams and tolerates formative pruning well.
