The plant at a young age possesses a globular shape, which over time becomes ovoid. The needles are dark green in color and consist of large scales; the shoots have a cord-like, flattened structure.

The height of the adult plant reaches 2–3 meters with a width of 1.2–2 meters; the annual growth rate is 15–20 cm. The variety is suitable for solitary planting, cultivation in containers, as well as for creating clipped or free-growing hedges.
