The Branisko variety is a diploid (2n) red clover. Its primary area of use is forage production. Specifically, the variety was studied in scientific experiments evaluating the effectiveness of clover undersowing in silage maize crops.
In agronomic studies, the variety was considered in the context of assessing dry matter productivity under the conditions of the East Slovak Lowland, where it appeared as one of the genotypes of Slovak breeding.
