Variety Bona is a tetraploid (4n) variety of red clover of Polish breeding. In agronomic studies, the variety is characterized by high yield indicators of green mass, dry matter, total protein, and net energy.

As with most tetraploid varieties, the dry matter content in the green mass may be slightly lower than that of diploid counterparts. The variety is suitable for use in pure stands and in grass mixtures, as well as for forage harvesting in the form of silage.
