The variety is a tetraploid (4n) form derived from local resistant Swiss populations. It is characterized by a consistently high yield of green mass over three years of cultivation.

The plant possesses resistance to powdery mildew, Sclerotinia, and anthracnose, which allows it to maintain its share in the sward. The variety is intended for use in perennial grass mixtures and is well suited for the establishment of hay meadows due to its competitiveness and hardiness.
