The variety is a synthetic population created on the basis of the Norwegian variety Nordi, the Swedish population Bjursele, and the Norwegian synthetic line LGRk 8801-2x.

The variety is classified as diploid. In agricultural practice, it is used for forage harvesting. The variety is often used in international scientific research as a model object for studying the genetics, breeding, and adaptation of the species to climatic conditions.
