The variety has a diploid set of chromosomes (2n). Studies note its early flowering and erect growth habit, which makes the crop suitable for forage preservation. Under permanent pasture conditions, the variety may exhibit moderate or insufficient longevity.

Under laboratory conditions, low resistance of the variety to Sclerotinia (the pathogen of crown rot) was identified. The plant has also been used in biochemical research to analyze the composition of isoflavones and other compounds.
